‘Don’t Look Back’ showcases Just.Jax’s (Jackson Wyatt) evolution as an artist.
With origins in Trap and Dubstep, his latest single is melodic house, with emotional lyrics and a powerful bassline.
“My sound is developing in a way that connects emotive melodies with club vibes, to engage the listener emotionally but also have the taste of late-night playback for the dance floor,” explains Wyatt.
New Zealand born Wyatt moved to Australia in 2019 where he fell in love with House Music.
Inspired by Mark Knight, Siege, and Leftwing : Kody, his career in production began properly. And Jax hasn’t looked back. His first release “Haus Party '' released under Sorta Kinda Music was created a mere four months into his production career and charted respectably in the early 70’s on the ARIA club charts.
Back on home soil since late 2021, Jax has gone from strength to strength. “Don’t Look Back” marks the 5th release of the artist on SKM and includes “Set Me Free” which featured on compilation album Club Cactus Vol 1 released in 2021.
While currently in New Zealand, Just.Jax teases an Australian tour soon, “I’m definitely keen to get back to Australia, hopefully within the next couple of months”.
