This week I’m serving up a little bit of something for everyone. Alex Preston kicks off the mix with a funky little tune ‘Don’t You Even Try’. Quibiko is on remix duties for Harpoon on his latest track ‘Ride With Me’ delivering a Defected style groover.
With a few solid weeks at number 1 in the ARIA club charts we take things a little deeper with TAYA’s remix of The Journey & Rachel May’s track Hollow. Gold Coast local and all round loose unit, FISHER, teams up with Dutch-Caribbean duo Shermanology to provide a little bit of heat to the mix with their latest ‘It’s a Killa’.
Canadian producer JackEL joins the party with ‘Deja Vu’. ‘Deja Vu’ has a minimal and catchy vocal hook and mellifluous melodies that start off chill before boiling over into bass heavy delight.
Aussie party starters, Mood Swing & Chevy Bass serve up a new tune, ‘Kitty Litter’, with a filthy bassline, quirky synths, some super funky 70's guitar licks and a subtle dose of skilfully selected samples, this tune is alive and full of beans just like a kitty on catnip!
